In the Roll-Printed Collection, designs are hand drawn and then etched on a metal plate. The plate is then sandwiched with silver sheet and put through a rolling mill to imprint or emboss the hand-drawn design onto the silver. It is similar to printmaking but in metal. Over time the plates wear down from use and are retired, making each series a limited edition.
